ICMA TRAX2 simulation with Green Hat Software’s TRAX2 Stub

Need to develop and test applications that interface to ICMA’s TRAX2 gateway but don’t have access to a test gateway, then use Green Hat’s TRAX2 Stub?

The Stub simulates the full range of TRAX2 messages and manages client sessions.

An application that implements the TRAX2 TCP/IP api can logon to the Stub and send and receive messages as if it where connected a live TRAX2 gateway.

The Stub’s simulation message store defines the behaviour of the Stub. By manipulating the contents of the message store a developer or tester can simulate situations to exercise applications in predictable and repeatable patterns. This is a major advantage of using the Stub over connecting to ICMA’s test TRAX2 system, connecting to the test system relies on other users of the system submitting messages that match the profile of the activity you are trying to simulate. This is very difficult to achieve and requires coordinated testing between multiple parties.
